Grimm's Special Unit, a ragtag bunch of agents, knows what many not even dare to suspect: Fairy tale villains and heroes are a real part of today's world. While they are mostly forgotten, a shaky agreement between humanity and fairy tale creatures keeps dangerous beasts and scheming witches away from your doorstep.

You play members of Grimm's Special Unit overseeing the activities of fairy tale beings.  You intervene when ignorant mankind would otherwise remember their fairy tale cousins or to prevent dire consequences of villains' actions. Based in Hamelin, you spring to action when you are called upon by unsuspecting mortals or your connections in fairy tale land.

Play as one of six premade characters from the Hamelin based GSU and jump right into the action. Friedrich Hart, a former cop, is out for revenge. Bärbel “Yuga” Minden knows her herbs and the veil between worlds is thin for her. Kathrin Ausdemhut is a brilliant scientist, but is not all advanced science bordering on magic? Maria Fuchs, a big-game huntress, preys on mythical beasts for the ultimate trophy. Balthasar von Hameln, a dreaming author, is a master of stories, while his brother Hans has been cursed and is currently a goose.
